Resilience in Turbulent Times

Get up one more time than you fall.”

It sounds so simple. Yet, within us lies a sleeping giant that awakens with each fall or presumed failure. It whispers all our fears. “Just quit. You’ll never make it; you’re too old, young, dumb, and inadequate. Go get a job.” That inner voice will find your weak link, seeking to stop you before you cross your personal finish line toward success and fulfillment.

What are we to do with this relentless negative soothsayer? We can recognize it for what it is: an imposter whose job is to temper, strengthen, and give us the resolve to continue with the wisdom of our hearts.

Once accepted, the challenge will attract naysayers afraid of the journey. They will ridicule you and do what they can to trash your dream. Yet, those who embark on the journey of discovery in search of their dreams will find that success is always a step away, waiting to bear fruit. In this process, your path opens up and brings you the next opportunity to learn and grow, both inwardly and externally. This gift of awareness is the very thing that brings your harvest.

This willingness to follow our path toward fulfillment is fraught with obstacles that may initially seem insurmountable. There is always another way, another opportunity to make your dream come true.

Failure is not to be feared. We can write and rewrite our life story one step at a time.

When we get up one more time than we fall, the universe pays attention. Use your hard times to fuel the good times. Let the good times remind you that we are constantly learning and growing.

All it takes is one step at a time to eventually reach the top of your mountain. You can become stronger, more resilient, and more compassionate for your journey and the journey of others. Then you, too, may become a light bearer, here to share your wisdom, strength, healing, and courage.

Will you join me in this journey toward awareness, compassion, strength, and wisdom? The gifts you will receive will transform your life and those of those you touch.

What say you?

Stay tuned for the next stress tip!

Peace & Blessings,
